Need Ideas for eating more Fats

Lately I have not been meeting the recommended amount of fat mg. per day. I always meet protein and even go over a bit. I'm at a loss as to how I can add more fat to my diet without adding more protein. I am not trying to avoid fats. I eat full fat cheese. Though I do eat non-fat yogurt and drink skim milk. I usually have peanut butter everyday with apple slices. I need some more ideas.
I appreciate any help you more experienced healthy people can share.

try snacking on nuts-almonds and cashews are good fats that will increase your intake. You can also add avacado to your foods--again healthy fat that will get you to your #'s0

Agree! raw almonds! YUM! Avocados, YUM! I never have a problem with fats! Way to go!!0 -
Agree----nuts are the best. I would not worry going over on your protein. I think as long as you eat as much protein as is suggested that is awesome, so long as it is all healthy protein, I would not worry. Nuts, cheese, and dairy are great ways to hadd healthy fat.0

I agree with the nuts and avocado, yummy! Peanut butter is a good choice, olive oil or canola oil, coconut or things made with coconut water/milk!0

Avocado and olive oil (I use to cook with most of the time, or you can drizzle on bread or over veggies) will add fat without adding protein.0

Check your settings first. They have fats set at 30% which in my opinion is pretty high and they have the protein set pretty low. Play with that first before you add fat to your diet.
If you still don't think that you are getting enough:
olive oil
avocado
nuts
dairy
Good luck!

Wow, thanks everyone for the great ideas! :flowerforyou: I probably will check my settings, but I will be implementing all of your suggestions.

To get the good fats, look at eating nuts. Also, olives are great and so are fish oil supplements (cod liver and krill).
