Aromatherapy?

Hi all,

I have a question. I've heard tons of wonderful things about aromatherapy and i am now quite interested into venturing into it. Ive been doing some reading on the net. I am a big fan on alternative medicines, holistic approaches.

I am interested in creating a new environment in my home with aromatherapy. Ideally, i like to create the same environment i have been in while at the spa. I always seem so relaxed and happy and at ease at the spa. This is before the massage. I want to recreate that if possible but dont even know where to start.

Can anyone lead me to the right direction?

Thanks!

Firstly go to your salon and find out what that smell is!

I can't stress enough how careful you need to be with armatherapy as some of the oils can be quite nasty on your skin if undiluted and can take polish off surfaces if they get on there . They need to be stored properly to keep their qualities intact and to stop them going off.

Having said all that, get yourself a good book - have a good look at it and then maybe pop to your local college and see if they have a course going.

I love aromatherapy - the right smell can have such a positive effect on your mood for sure. Enjoy!
