I have a goal set for myself::: May 14th is the big day..no not a wedding :( but the 5/3th river bank run and my goal is to complete a 10k I really need alot of support so I turn to MFP (peeps)!!! LOL this is new to me but I think I will like it.. my first weight is Monday

    I have set a similar goal! I started running training last week - my first goal is 11km Sutherland to Surf run (Sydney).

    My ultimate aim is a full marathon, at the moment that sounds impossible, but not for at least 2 years! You have to start somewhere right?

    A work colleague started training 2 and half years ago and will be running her first full marathon in a couple of months (she also lost 25 kilos in that time!) She is my inspiration!
