I may have hit my maintenance weight.

I went shopping for dress pants for work, and the pants that fit (in three different brands) are a US 6. While there are smaller sizes, I want grown up pants rather than skinny jeans and that clothing monstrosity known as "jeggings".... After spending the morning looking for work clothes, I walked out of Ross and Target with 2 pairs of pants, a skirt and a size small dress, and I think I might be at a good size. It was almost as difficult to find clothing at this size as it was as a size 14, but for different reasons. Then, everything I owned bulged. Now I'm buying off the sale rack to avoid spending an arm & a leg to replenish my wardrobe.

I'm not as fit as I'd like, and have back flab (and front flab, for that matter) to tighten up, but I think I'm moving to maintenance for real, even though my original goal weight is within spitting distance.

Photobucket may make me cry: I'm posting pictures to my profile...

Fantastic job!! Don't cry when you see your 'old' self because to get where you are now, physically and mentally, you had to come from somewhere.

    Keep up the great work!

Thanks! Though it's Photobucket that might make me cry, not my fat picture.... I knew I was fat when I took it, and it's me, regardless. To misquote Marge Simpson, I was the one stirring butter in my coffee....
