I am a new member on this community, and am very glad I discovered it.
I have been tracking my slow but steady progress through last 1 week...

One of the things that has worked miracles for me in this thus-far short journey, is cutting down on my snacks. I was in the habit of constantly munching something all evening, in between meals not realizing that even those little intakes add a lot of cumulative calories. Now I have restricted my snacks to about 150-200 cal strictly, and have found that keeping up with the daily calorie restriction is not that tough after all...that is if you eliminate the sneaky offender ...smack that snack!

  • You can also get the 100-cal snacks in crackers or cookies. I found that if I eat one of those and drink some water or crystal light, I'm ok until next meal.
  • I had no idea the amount of extra calories I was taking in eating healthy snacks that add up quick. This site is an eye opener for me since I am now tracking all my food.
