just google a weight converter, for example:
http://www.onlineconversion.com/weight_common.htm
or, download an app such as "convert"0 -
1 stone = 14 pounds
So 10.5 stone = ((14 x 10) + 5) = 145 pounds0 -
1 stone = 14 pounds
So 10.5 stone = ((14 x 10) + 5) = 145 pounds
I'm confused too. Wouldn't the .5 be 7lb being half a stone?0 -

Yup, somebody's math was off. 10.5 stone would be 147 pounds. The equation is 14*10.5= 1470 -
just google a weight converter
Google it self actually works as a converter too. Just google "1 stone to lbs", for example, and you'll get "1 stone = 14 pounds".
Pretty neat!0 -

Hmm I have had big problems with this - I downloaded the convertor app but it was taking 12st 13 as 12.13 12st 1.3 of a lb. Having a quick look at this page, I think using a calculator and multiplying the stones by 14 & adding the pounds is the safest!! I have had to backfill my weights today because it congratulated me on losing a stone, when i had only lost 6lbs!0
