Ode To Spinning

This was written by my very good friend and posted to Facebook yesterday. She gave me permission to share it with all of you.

"You can ride a bike," said my friend,
"its fun, even if you're a klutz."
As I sat on the bike in question,
I thought my friend was a little nuts.

I'd rather be eating brunch,
drinking mimosas in a flute.
Instead I'm wearing spandex
and working on my glutes.

The spin room's really stuffy
filled with stinky, sweaty bods.
My knees are numb and shaky
and there's a fire in my quads.

The instructor is way too chipper
I'd like to give her head a smack
for all her stupid hill climbs
A cramp is spreading up my back.

Spinning along to loud music
Keeping time to Axel Rose
I'm glad I can see my feet
Even if I can longer feel my toes.

This spin class is intense
I hope it isn't all for naught
because the saddle feels like a brick
chafing my butt and tw*t.

ROFLMAO...... THAT is brilliant. I'm so glad she put that bit at the end about chaffing... HEHEHEHEHE, somedays I think I'm the only one that suffers (either that or I'm the only one that complains that loudly!)
