For the smoothie lovers
Options
I ran out of greek yogurt this weekend and wanted to make a smoothie...had cottage cheese, so I added it in. I am NOT a cottage cheese person, at all...but it was good. Kindof took some of the sweetness away which is nice sometimes. Today is the third day I've used cottage cheese and I couldn't even taste it! It is a great protein boost.
Here's my smoothie recipe for those who are interested...
1/4 cup cottage cheese
1 cup almond milk
1 banana
1/4-1/2 cup baby spinach, or however much I can shove in the cup
1 scoop megagreens
1 scoop Spiru-tein chocolate peanut butter swirl protein powder
ice
This all fits into a magic bullet cup...its about 425-450 cals but I drink it at around 8:30 and am not hungry until 11:45or after.
