Stair Master cals burned

I was wondering why the exercise database doesn't have many stair master options. Is the "stair-treadmill ergometer" the same thing? Also, shouldn't there be more than one choice for speed/intensity (like with running) as you can do different intensity levels on a stair master machine and thus would burn different calorie amounts?

Because of the generic descriptions, I go by what I entered in the cardio machine. Ihope that helps!0

I thought the same thing, but I went out and bought a Heart Rate monitor watch that tells me how much I am burning and based off what the watch says I just tweek what I enter in the excersise log. The watch was less than 25.00 at Wal Mart.0
