I have completed the C25K and I'm almost done with the E210K, does anyone know of a good training program out there for Half Marathon?

I'm following this guy's 10k plan - here's his half marathon plan. I like the way he structures the schedules - it's simple enough to adjust/tweak to fit individual needs. This is the novice plan - there are intermediate and advanced plans that may fit you better depending on your experience/goals.

I did my half training using the run/walk a half plan in Bingham and Hadfield's "Marathoning for Mortals". They have 4 pans for the half and 4 for the whole - walk, walk/run, run/walk, run. LOVE their plans!!

Me too! And I'm using his intermediate plan because it can be really good to throw in interval runs regardless of what you are training for but especially with half marathon. Gotta love Hal! :o)

  • I use the Nike+ system. It tracks my milage, calories, and has designed workouts, and all the data is sent to the Nike+ website. In a couple weeks, I will begin the Nike+ 1/2 marathon training program. I like it because it includes speed work and hill work, plus it only has you running 4-5 days a week.

Yes, I am using my Ipod Touch, loving it. I will wait and see for a new app, otherwise I will try some of the other suggestions! Thanks everyone.
