pulled muscle

I was sneezing:embarassed: :embarassed: and pulled a muscle so any ideas on how to exercise without pulling it more ?It goes into spasums if I lift or twist .

    Don't lift or twist....ride a bike or walk...do something that avoids the motions that irritate it. You'll be fine in a couple days.
  • I think you need to see a doctor. It happened almost similar to your but he was in the bathroom when it happened. The doctor said he needs to take it easy for a few weeks.

    Ice the muscle for 20 minutes at least 4 or 5 times in the first 24 hours, and don't be shy of taking some ibuprofen (Motrin or Advil) because it helps reduce swelling. You can continue to ice the area before and after exercise for a week or so to make it more manageable. Be sure to do stretches first.
