Calorie Cycling

I saw someone on here mention calorie cycling so I googled it and read up on it. It sounds like a good thing. I know you have to be precise in your calorie counting and exercise more on your higher calorie days. Has anyone does this and if so, did it seem to work? The theory of it makes a lot of sense. You're still getting your goal calories per week just staggering how you're doing it. It's supposed to trick your metabolism. Any thoughts??
