O-M-G!

I looovee macaroni grill, but, wow, I did NOT realize the calories were so high! My chicken scallopine dinner was over 1000 calories! plus appetizer and dessert. Ugh! I knew it was going to be bad, but not 2500 calories bad! I am LITERALLY disgusted with myself right now. :explode:   :grumble:

I will have to work out super hard and eat better the rest of the week. Ughh. So discouraging, but, I guess it really was my own fault, so, I shouldn't be whining. I truly think that restaurants should be mandated to revamp their entire menus, that is so ridiculous.:grumble:

Don't be too hard on yourself. I love there food to. It's just one day and not the rest of your life. Just start over tomorrow. Do a little more exercise and then you be right on track.
It's good to let loose once in a while I will do it once a month myself.

hang in there! one bad day of eating won't drag you down. i feel the same way tonight, too - i went out intending to have a salad, but had wings and an ice cream sundae (and yes a small salad) instead! i know i went way over my calorie goal, but tomorrow is a new day.

and i COMPLETELY agree with you - restaurants should be mandated to post calories and nutrition info on their menus! i know that it would help me make smarter choices!

I wouldn't be too upset... Think of it as an eye opener. It's like the Olive Garden here I love there pasta and free salad and bread sticks but I know that if I go it's going to be a major calorie dinner. Now I still have it but I only have a small portion of salad, and 2 bread sticks at most or sometimes I ask them to not even bring it out (depends on who I'm with) the Main course I keep the small plate that they have given me for my appy and just fill that up once. I take the rest home and portion it out for left overs or divide it between the roomies It's hard but I refuse to say I can't have this or that. When I do that I tend to crave the food that much more and nothing seems to satisfy it.

I know where your coming from. Huge HUGS
