 Hello.

My name is Alexandra, I'm 22. Married for 3 years to a wonderful man, and together we have a beautiful daughter who will be turning 2 next month!

I am here for support. My husband is going on another deployment soon and I would really like to surprise him by getting back down to my pre-pregnancy weight before he comes back home. I also want to train myself with a new lifestyle.

You see, I'm an emotional eater. I also eat because I love food. I'll have seconds, or thirds simply because something tastes good. I've been known to eat until my stomach hurt. Gross, I know. I decided that enough was enough.

Yesterday was the first day of my journey. I started tracking my food today.. and I did what cardio I could handle. I'm trying to work my way up. (haha)

I'd like to meet new people here with similar goals to mine. Forgive me, I'm still learning my way around this site.

I'm 180 and I would like to get down to 130. I'm trying to set my sight on the first 15lbs first, though.

I would love any support, suggestions, tips and advice. And friends along the way wouldn't hurt.

go ahead and add me. except for age, we are basically on the same goal. my hubby was in the military, i have a 2 year old as of halloween, and i was 180 but i want to get to 150 instead of 130. i am not an emotional eater, i am a really bored eater. whats really works for me to get me full is drink a lot of water. mostly you are dehydrated not hungry. also, popcorn and pretzels work. of course not together :) popcorn is best on the stove, with a bit of oil, and that will fill you up, not the bagged popcorn. good luck to you

    Oh, very cool!

Well I'm only 5'1" so if I gain 2lbs, people notice! LOL I think I'm supposed to be around 115 or so for my height (not sure) but I just don' t have the body frame for that, I don't think.

Now that you mention it, water is my problem area. I don't drink sodas. I love tea but I'm trying to cut that out for now. I just never remember to drink water. That's something I need to work on.
