Help I'm full of flu!!!! Grrrrrrrr

Omg what a set back I'm so Ill in bed with the flu, I can't swallow water or eat my throat is so sore, only on week 3 of my diet to get back on track and fitness what Shall I do.
no exercise and I think all I could try and eat is soup.
Any tips for me or words of wisdom?

  • i think if you're ill it's the best way to lose weight , stop worrying and just focus of getting well

    You need to have a healthy body to workout and lose weight in. i would concentrate on getting better, and if you feel up to it to some light exercise and stretching. Just keep track of what you eat too, and just work on getting better. Hope you feel better soon.

    I had a horrid bout of flu just before Christmas and coughed for three weeks after - I only just went back to the gym yesterday. But I didn't gain because I also totally lost my appetite and sense of taste. Don't worry - just rest, drink LOTS of fluids, and you'll be back in no time!
