Will they ever go away? If I lose weight, will they go away/shrink up or will they get worse??

When I lost weight mine faded and are almost gone! I didn't use anything special. Just moisturize a lot!0

I've lost 75lbs. I had really noticable red in coloration stretch marks when I was overweight. Now they are just white lines. I've tried creams and lotions, nothing worked for me.0

They're essentially scarring where the skin has stretched too much too fast during a period of rapid weight gain. Just like scars, they will fade from angry red to silvery marks. Whenever I had a growth spurt...puberty or a period of weight gain...I'd get more and more and each time they fade back to silver. Of course I do not have marks upon marks upon marks...they tend to almost completely vanish but you have to be patient, it will happen in its own good time!0

Mine are still there. Lighter and less noticeable, but they're there.

while they will never go all the way away, rubbing lotion on them daily will help minimize their appearance0
