New Year - Same Old Challenge

Hello all, I'm new here and was encouraged to join by my sweet daughter who raves about this site.

Looking for encouragement and lots of tips. I've rejoined my gym and go at least 3 times a month - an hour of cardio and weights so am cautiously optimistic that I'll stick to my personal goals.

Looking forward to lots of great :smile: ideas/tips.:smile:

  • Hey you, we all start somewhere, add me as a friend so we can encourage eachother. My advise is to log your food even on bad days, track all walking even shopping as exercise, weigh in only once a week, and add as many friends as you can.. Try a join a group.

    Welcome,I too joined this week,and so far I love it.It doesnt feel so much like a diet,.but it makes you aware of what you are eating..I will add you as a friend...the more friends you have the more encouragment you will get...good luck..you have made the first step.:happy:

    Hey Mom! You will do great. This site has been such an encouragement for me. Great people and focus on making lasting, maintainable life changes - not yo yo dieting, etc. Lots of people on here at goal who continue to log to maintain. I love that. And the food database is huge.

    You can do this!

    Do you work out 3X a week or month? You said month, but I was thinking you went every week.
