Fun Card Game from Jullian from Biggest Loser

In the biggest loser book “Simple Swaps,” Jillian tells of a game to play with a deck of cards.


First you assign an activity to each suit. Jillian’s are pretty hard, but you could do something like the following:


HEARTS – Wall push-ups
DIAMONDS – Arm Weights
CLUBS – Squats
SPADES – Ball Exercises (pick which ones before hand)

JOKERS - One minute of running in place
ACES:- One minute of stair steps

10, J, Q, K - 10 reps
2-9 - the number value of reps

You shuffle the cards. You turn one card over and proceed to do what the card shows – (i.e. 8 of Clubs – you would do 8 squats).

This would be a fun activity with a group of people and with someone calling out what the next card was and the activity that should be done..

    that sounds like a excellent idea for a bit of motivation once in a while or something to do while the ads are on i think i am gonna buy a cheap pack or cards and do this... Thankyou :-)
