having done ww i find it to be extremely similiar except here we work with calories and ww you work with points... also the message boards on the ww site werent as supportive and friendly... some people were actually mean... which i never understood... i love this site so much and so happy its free...
  • i never did well with the points system, find it easier to track calories, also i love the iphone app

The cool thing about this site is that...if you are doing WW, you could still use the data MFP provides you to manually calculate your points.

I have grown quite addicted to this website. LOVE it. It is quickly replacing my Facebook addiction.

    Rock on!

Never did WW, but did do other programs, but my observations are:

No one here (unless you request your friends to do so) to yell at you and tell you that you are eatting wrong.
No one here telling you that you HAVE TO eat ____________(insert least favorite food here).
No one here tells you that you CAN'T eat something.
No one here tells you that there is only ONE WAY to do something.
No one reprimands you if you don't exercise every day.
No one berates you if you go over by a few cals.
    Everyone on MFP is friendly.
Opinions and experiences can be expressed and discussed openly.
MFP is not a PITA to use.

    Just my .02 worth.

Nothing really except it's free!!! I just cancelled my WW membership and have been using MFP! I've lost weight with WW in the past but this time around I just couldn't get into it, so tired of the points system. I've been doing great with MFP!
