Hello all! I wanted to share this recipe as it's easy to make and very low cal. I'm always on the look out for easy recipes. If I see a list of 10 or more ingredients I usually just skip on past it.
I pulled this one from the following book: The 1200 Calorie a Day Menu Cookbook by Nancy S. Hughes
Green Pea Soup - 155 calories, 2.8g fat per serving
**1/2 cup fat free mayonnaise-style salad dressing
**1/3 cup finely chopped yellow onion (any onion works)
**1 Teaspoon sugar
**1/2 Teaspoon black pepper
**24 green olives stuffed with pimientos, sliced
** Two 10 ounce packages frozen green peas, steam cooked
--Combine salad dressing, onion, sugar, pepper, and olives. Blend thoroughly. Add peas. Toss gently but thoroughly to coat completely. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
