I can't go on holiday again overweight

My goal is twofold; to be slim by the summer and this time - to keep it off permanently. I have 45 pounds to lose and I miss being slim and active so much! Now its twice the effort to do anything!

I lost all the weight in 2009 and felt fit and fabulous. Since then I've put 2/3 of it back on. This time I'd like to lose the weight no matter how long it takes and keep it off forever.

I enjoy cycle touring especially when I'm a bit slimmer. Now its a bit uphill even when its not....

Its never too late although its a lonely journey so any encouragement along the way would be appreciated.

    It's not lonely here!

What will you do differently this time? Isn't it going to be great to see your family and friends next holiday season and be itty bitty?

Losing weight isn't the hardest part- it's keeping it off, been there done that:flowerforyou:

I'm not honestly sure yet although I think portion control and sticking to an exercise schedule come what may. And you?

How do i say this...you have it in you to be the fit person you wish to be. Trust in your goals, if you get of track , just redirect. Each of us has it in them to change and improve. Wish you all the luck.

Thank you. That is very helpful. I know I can do it and keep it off if I put my mind to it.
