lowering my carbs

Ok need help peoples! I am lowering my carbs, and need ideas for meals and snacks that are low in fat and still healthy without so many carbs. I am talking about 150 grams a day.
I am new to this, and a carb-o-holic, so any suggestions would help.

    Hmm..

    I eat a lot of eggs, cheese, bacon, turkey, cottage cheese.

    Carbs are not your enemy- try and eat complex ones only (whole grain/whole wheat) and eat them with a protein if possible.

    The "bad" carbs? Simple sugars- white bread, "enriched" breads, white rice, cookies, cakes, high fructose corn syrup etc.

    You will notice after a week or so your cravings will diminish- really :wink:

    I ate crap over Christmas and had such a sugar high by the end it took a crash low sugar to get out of it:grumble:

    Thanks. I notice I am tired alot, and I am wondering if to many carbs is why. I am not cutting them out, at all. replacing with healthy/complex, and lowering them for sure.
    I am going gorcery shopping here in a couple of days, so I can stock up! This week I was hit and miss with it cause I started in the middle of the week and had to make due with what I have in the pantry. (Im not one that goes back to the store everyday.)
