Heart rate monitor

Now that I'm using a heart rate monitor.. I'm shocked to see how low my calorie burn is!!!!!! ( oh boy have I been over counting with mfp stats)!! How can this be??????? Help!!!!!

Yeah, I found that too. But only with aerobics/toning. Walking is pretty much the same as MFP and cleaning is higher!!
I dont really know why? But I guess that the more steady paced cardio is easier to measure on the HRM, whereas more intense workouts feel harder but actually you dont burn much more in the moment. More, that you continue to burn after the workout.
Either way, if you're losing weight, then something is going right. These machines are only guesstimates :bigsmile:0 -
