Calorie deficits and weight loss...

Ok, so I am told my BRM is roughly 1510 calories, I am set to eat 1200 calories plus whatever I burn during my workout. This gives me a rough deficit of 310 calories. If 1 pound is equal to 3500 calories, going at my rate it would take me 11 days to burn one pound, yet I am set to lose 1.5 pounds a week. Would it make sense to leave 200 calories I have burned working out at the end of every day to actually achieve my 2lb weight loss, or would this do more harm than good? Or am I just slow and missing something - which is also quite possible!

That sounds fine! Since you're halfway, I would say it would be better to aim for just 1 pound per week... you have a deficit of 310 calories, so just leave 190 of your workout calories to get 500 calories per day.

Your daily calorie goal is calculated with your BMR and your normal daily activity. The calories burned through exercise are separate. You may have selected to lose 1.5 pounds per week but MFP won't let you consume fewer than 1200 calories per day, regardless of how much you want to lose. For most people, going below 1200 net calories per day can slow the metabolism, making weight loss difficult or even impossible.

Eat your 1200 calories plus your exercise calories. You will see results.
