I had a friend warn me today not to drink too much water.....What is too much? I know that working out will increase the amount we need.....Any other factors that figure in to the equation?

General rule of thumb that many people use is take your body weight in pounds and divide by 2. Drink that many oz. of water. Example... a 200 lb person should drink 100 oz. of water.
Honestly? I drink 100+ ounces of water every day and love it!0 -
If you are working out you are going to need more water. If you are eating alot of sodium you are going to need more water. There are many factors in how much water you should be drinking. Just don't try to drink it all at once!0
