Mmmmmmm...strawberries

Just thought I'd pass along...My Sam's club had driscoll's strawberries this morning and they are the BEST off-season strawberries I've ever eaten! Between my kiddos and I we polished off 2 pounds today. Hopefully someone others will have as good a find.,..

    I saw them at our local grocer but they were $10 for a small container. Wowzers.

    I hope our Sam's has some in now. Last time I was there (last week some time) they were out of them and out of grapes as well. They also have yummy off-season grapes. I'll have to get over there tomorrow and check!

    During the summer they also have a type of peach I've never seen anywhere else. It is call the "Saturn" peach or something like that. They are nice and plump but flatter than a normal peach. Let me tell you, they are DIVINE! I typically get peaches from a local peach farm about an hour north from me (gotta keep my pantry stocked with homemade low sugar peach jam) but I bought the ones from Sam's too because they were just SO GOOD. Keep an eye out for them later in the year. :)
