Bipolar Disorder vs. Energy vs. Weight loss

So, I am bipolar and of course, not on the right medications because it is just so hard to control. I have an erratic sleeping schedule, and I have been trying my hardest.. I just never have enough energy, and I am VERY sensitive to caffeine. I really want to loose 60lb's in one year's time, but I just need some help I suppose.
Anyone have any suggestions for things I can take that will give me energy that is not caffeine?

I once read that apple in the morning is a better wake up food that coffee. It seems strange and I don't know how accurate this is as I've never used either to wake me up. I googled it just now though and there seems to be similar questions about that. Worth a try I suppose0

I would talk to your Dr. You don't want to take anything that might be contraindicated with your meds. Good Luck and I feel your pain!0

how odd....i replaced my my morning cup of coffee with apple last week, and i can report back that it does help a bit, just takes some getting used too0

I found Vitamin B12 helps to give energy. I suffer from uni polar and on meds but I seem to be ok with B12.
Good Luck x0 -
I absolutely love apples, so I'll definitely have to try that, and I have to be careful with B-12 because it makes me really dizzy and nauseous, but I'll try. I asked my Doctor already if there was anything I could take and she told me she'd have to look into it and she'd let me know next time I came back to see her, which will be Feb. 1st... it's just really frustrating knowing that I can't do as much as I want because I feel pathetic even when I try to motivate myself, because I literally can't help it.
Again, thanks for the helpful hints though, I'm definitely going to try the apple idea out!0 -
Just to add, I've read a lot of things about peaches giving you energy. Don't know how available they are at the moment, but could work?
Good luck x0
