Hi I've only signed up to the site about a week ago and it's brilliant. Really helping me watch what I eat and how I exercise.
I have recently been given a plan by my personal trainer to do at my local gym, but a few of the exercises that I do, aren't in the exercise database.
They are....(please check links provided to show you what I mean)
*HAND CYCLE
http://www.ibodz.com/shop/equipment/hand-cycle
*Plank
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plank_(exercise)
Please could anyone help me. How do I track these exercises on MFP?
THANK YOU

Well, if they aren't in the system and you have a heart monitor, you can create them I believe. I know that the plank is more a strength exercise since we do it in the routines my trainer has worked out. I'm sure it burns calories but not sure how many. Good luck.0

If all else fails, log it under calisthenics. But the only way to truly know is a HRM.0 -

I finally invested in a heart rate monitor and I couldn't believe how 'off' the calorie calculations were. On my regular 30 min run at 6 mph the site was logging me at 320 cals burned and my hrm calculated 220. That's a significant difference. Every body is different so the hrm is the only way to know for sure0
