Looking for recipes with a low number of grams of carbohydrates. Anyone have ideas?

    South Beach Diet book has a bunch of good recipes, but they do use complex carbs, so not low carb per se. You can get really good recipes on kalynskitchen.com that are healthy and low carb (SBD ph 1, 2, 3).

    My fav:

    Take 150g plain fat free Greek yogurt, mix with 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein shake mix and a packet of stevia. Add 10 almonds and voila! A yummy snack at about 240 cals, 9 carbs and 33g protein

    I swear by Linda's recipes. I've tried a bunch already.
  • I try to stick with atkins recipies. They have a realy good chedder burger and chicken burger! Theyre low in calories as well as the carbs! And the bread I use is oroweat jewish rye. (its actually not bad..most breads have 24+ carbs and this one only has 13 and when i make a burger i onyl use one slice and cut it in half) but just look through their recipies! They have lots of ideas! I have high tryglycerides so its important for me to stick to a low carb diet and doing atkins im able to stay below 75/day compared to the hundreds that we used to intake before
