My name is Shannon and I am trying to lose 15 pounds that I "found" last year. I have MS and my doctor wants to make sure that I keep my weight in check, as extra weight could make everything I do more difficult. My Mom was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (her grandmother and mother also have type 2) and I will do whatever possible to NOT follow in that path.
I'm not an exerciser, however, I do have a dog and 2 small boys that keep me pretty busy. I figure I burn more calories per day running after them and doing housework than I ever would in a gym!
