About the plateu, and how to get to the next level of fitnes

So, a question for folks who've lost weight, but not just that, made it to the next level of fitness: Get RIPPED.

How did you do it? Is it achieving the perfect balance of foods, or is it working out religiously, 7 days per week, or what's the secret?

I'm aiming to get rid those extra pounds that keep me from having a 32 inch waist, and a nice, ripped physique!

    There's really no magic secret. Just eat right, make sure you're eating a lot of protein (Whey Protein shakes after workouts are really helpful), hit the gym a lot (make sure you mix up your routine so your body doesn't get used to anything, and include enough strength training).

    I've been at my gym 5-6 days a week for the last 6 weeks, and have been starting to notice some pretty substantial results.

    I'd have to say both. In order to see the ripped-ness (:laugh: ) you need to lose fat that is sitting on top of those muscles. I did 500 situps every day religiously and wondered where in God's name my abs were. I found this site, lost 15 lbs, and BOOM!!! Found my abs!!!!!

    I think HIIT training has done wonders for me. It seems to get the goo off =). Let me know if you find the secret. I got about 6 more months before I can see some abs but I will get there.
