Ive been walking on the treadmill everyday for thirty minutes. When I input it on here I put it under stair-treadmill general. Is that wrong? Should I be putting it under just plain walking? I want the calories Im burning to be as accurate as possible. Help!!!!

Does your treadmill show you the calories burned? The good news is it doesn't matter what the activity is since you can manually enter in your calories burned if you know that number.

The one problem I can think of is if your treadmill doesn't account for your weight, it may not be giving you an accurate number of calories burned, here's a website I found which appears to be pretty accurate when I matched my workout's calories burned to what it says I burned.

A stair treadmill will traditionally burn more than just walking. You'd be better off to put it in as just walking. Ask your gym if they have heart rate monitors that you can use so your machine will giv eyou an accurate read-out of calories!
