Calorie Burn

Hi. Does anyone know of a good cardio work out that burnes over 500 calories BESIDES tae bo and running? I need something that's not too harsh on the back and joints. Thanks!

    ZUMBA! It is not hard on my joints at all and I have fibromyalgia! You can burn a TON of calories with zumba. At my last class I burned over 1000 in one hour. They have dvds available through zumba.com and at amazon. I like the dvds and have heard awesome things about the wii game as well! I love my kickboxing dvds too but that can be right at 500. If you have access to an elliptical that burns a lot of calories too without being harsh on the joints! :o) Love it! :o)

    elliptical! almost the same thing as running minus the pounding
  • If you have a membership to a gym, spin/cycle class is awesome! You can easily burn 800 calories if you talk to an instructor and make sure that you have enough resistance on the bike as well as go at a good pace. It's also easy on the joints. Good luck! :)
