Marinades: How do you figure them into your diary?

So tonight, I went way over in all areas. I had tangy shrimp kebabs....which was a recipe I input in the recipe calculator.......so it was figuring in the ENTIRE marinade......and technically I didn't eat the ENTIRE marinade....most of it got discarded......so how do you figure something like this into your diary?
Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Deb

I usually try to figure out how much was over my portion...a few tablespoons? A cup? And go from there. Its hard to do it on this site. I made a recipe tonight and realized that even though I had entered the portion in at 8 people, there was a ton of food left over. People were asking me if a serving size was a cup or two cups and all I knew is that I had figured it into 8 equal portions! LOL!0
