Progress...of a sort

So my first weigh in this morning. I actually thought that I hadn't lost any weight whatsoever, but it turned out I was getting confused about the numbers (I was 186.4, now 184.6, so it kind of looked the same!!)
But after a week of really trying hard to keep under the calories, exercising when I can, and avoiding all alcohol and the tempting box of chocolates sitting outside my office, I'm disappointed by the weight loss. I know it's in the right direction, and that it's on the button for the amount MFP recommends you lose, but especially in the first week I expected better.
Anyway, I think I'm going to start C25k this week and do hopefully 2 zumba classes, and keep on with the calories and the resisting temptation...
Anyone any ideas of how I can motivate myself/improve the results?

I'm sure you'll lose more... one thing I've learnt is that a loss doesn't always come when you expect it.
However, what you've proved is that it works, and if you continue, you'll carry on losing weight – what can be more motivating?! Good luck and just keep at it!0
