question about calories burned

My workout time (i'm a beginner) totals 30 minutes, with a 10 min warm-up and 5 min cool-down (plus stretches).
When entering my time for exercise, should I just enter 15 mins for the actual aerobic phase, or the total time of 30 mins.
It just seems the amount of calories burned is really high --- does the calculator take into account the variations of speeding up/slowing down during a workout?
I would appreciate any input.....thank you

I would probably just write down 15 minutes. Are you on a machine for those 30 minutes? If you have something that can monitor your heart rate it would be more accurate. To burn the most calories you have to maintain a certain heart rate , depending on your age.
Hope this helps.0
