My name is Shannon. I have been using the MFP app on my iPhone since April of last year. I have just started using the web site. I love the APP because it makes it easy to input my food and exercise onthe go, but the web site has given me a sense of community that I have been missing in my journey.
I work full time and have 2 children and one grandchild. I am preparing myself for "empty nest syndrome" as my youngest graduates from high school in June. I want to be fit and prepared for the adventures that will come once the hubby and I are on our own. I don't want to be too tired to travel or go have fun.
So my journey continues, hopefully with new friends on MFP to cheer me on.

Welcome!
I did the opposite. I found the site then later started using the app on the road.
The people who created this site did a great job.0
