Annoying Sodium info in MFP Food Database

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this: On almost every food's nutritional info that has been logged by a user on here has inaccurate sodium counts. It seems like no one else is aware of the difference between grams and miligrams. MPFs recommended sodium per day is measured in mg whereas most food packages measure it in grams.
For instance, if a food packet says something has 0.45g of sodium, this would be 450 mg on the MPF site. But because of the way the food was originally logged it comes up as 1 mg on the food diary. Sodium counts are so important in diets and weight loss as salt is a water retainer which stops the food digesting and burning properly, and also bloats you out. The less the better. But no one seems to be measuring it properly!
I've been trying to pay attention and edit each food if and when I can, but if I don't have the packet to hand its impossible! Keep an eye on what you're copying out when "adding new food" you guys! Uber important! Ta!

All the US labels are in mg for the Sodium. Looks like there was a big discussion some time back about the fact that UK labels are in grams.
