Just thought I'd stop by the forums and say hi!

I'm using MFP to track calories to stop the weight gain that I've had since I injured my back over a month and a half ago. I needed to lose a few pounds back then, and I was going to the gym and generally active, then boom! back injury! and although I'm working with a physio every couple of weeks I can't do any intense cardio

I started this with just the goal of stopping the weight gain (I bake a lot, eat out a lot etc) but surprised myself by losing five pounds after two weeks.

Overall I have 30 pounds that needs to go and hopefully in a few months I'll be back at the gym and things will speed up. :)

My physio had given me a no-go for any excersize other than the ones that they have given me until my back settles out :(

But after that swimming is a great low impact one, would probably be easier on me than going back to circuit training right away
