exercise calories?

How many of your exercise calories do you eat? With my exercise today, I will still have 1595 left for the day- and it's already 3:00 PM. That seems like so much. My target is usually 1330. I'm having a hard time finding the balance between eating too many calories and not enough, especially on the days when I have intense workouts that burn a lot of calories. Has anyone had success with aiming for a certain number (i.e. eating half of your exercise calories, eating none, eating all, etc)? Thanks
