Critical food list

What is on your list of critial foods that you need to have stocked and on hand at all times so that you DON'T eat off the plan?

Mine are:

cuties

apples

bananas

yogurt

wheat pretzels

string cheese

quaker rice snacks (cheddar)

raw almonds

I also always keep a few cans of soup at work for those times when I forget my lunch or dont have time to leave.

    zucchini
    laughin cow light cheese wedges
    can no salt added diced tomatoes
    spaghetti squash
    sugar free coffee creamer
    water
    more water
    walden farms sauces
    turnips for turnip fries
    egg beaters

    Tuna with olive oil
    Apples
    Peanut butter
    Eggs
    Almonds (the soy sauce wasabi ones are my current favorite... yum!)
    Coke Zero (not getting into an argument on how bad diet soda is for you... if I'm out of calories but want *something*, I drink one!)

    Good idea, currently I have the following:

    Cottage Cheese
    Various Quorn products; Suasages, Mince, Fillets etc..
    A basket of various fruits!
    MIxure of vegetables for vegetable soup
    Tap water - this stuff works wonders to quench hunger

    Turnip fries? I'm guessing you'd make these the same as potato or sweet potato fries?

    Mine varies depending on what is on sale... but typically I like to keep on hand

    Fruit that is in season (right now, apples and those Cutie tangerines)
    Nuts
    Peanut Butter
    Lowfat Cheese
    Skim milk
    Chicken breast
    Frozen vegetables (corn and green beans, stirfry mix)
    Fresh vegetables (carrots, onions, celery and whatever else I need to cook that week)
    Tap Water
    Eggs
    Oats
    Lots of spices

    And always having a menu plan going...
  • Mine seem to be deli turkey, egg beaters, amlu chicken sausage, cuties,red peppers,, hummus,, salmon, tomatos,onions, avocado, salsa, cottage cheese and diet coke...yes...I need to learn to drop the diet but for now, it is what it is...
  • I need to keep hummus stocked...I forget about that!
  • love,love hummus..red pepper hummus, chipolte hummus, sundried tomato hummus, ...........

    how do you make turnip fries and what would the nutritional values be?
