:flowerforyou: How do I edit portions? For instance I ate l/2 English muffin and your dropdown only offers 1 muffin, etc.
How do I change my daily caloric goal? I have a personal trainer who has advised different #'s for workout days and non workout days.

This is my first day using your web site and the first time I have ever tracked or counted calories. I am still learning how to navigate, but just discovered that I can pull up all my Trader Joe's grocery items. Is there a way I can save all the particular food items so I don't have to do a search for every entry?
I am so happy someone at work told me about myfitnesspal. :flowerforyou:0 -
it may say one english muffin, but you can type in 0.5 instead of the amount given. that's what I do.0

Every time you add a food to your diary, it automatically gets listed in the column that says "Recently used". There is also a frequently used column. You can add your own recipes if you can not find exactly what you are searching for. It's truly a great site, and I think you will have fun learning the ins and outs of it all. Just experiment with it and it'll become second nature in no time!

As far as I know, there's no way to manually alternate days in terms of your caloric goals. But this site does automatically adjust when you do workout. For example, if you worked out tonight and burned 200 calories, those calories automatically get added to the amount of calories you need to consume for the day. If your trainer has a specific number of calories he/she wants you at, adjust your caloric goal by redetermining your activity level.
Hope this helps! And welcome!
