Now, I've dieted on and off since I was 16 and I'm now 43 and really never heard muchy about sodium, until I came on here and people are saying that once they took notice of how much sodium they were eating the weight fell off. I've never taken any notice of sodium and I've no idea where it comes from.

Can someone tell me where it comes from - this week I did my sodium report and it's really up and down, highest is almost 2,400. Is that high .. what's the recommended amount of sodium to lose weight?

How can I limit sodium intake?

I have definately found the weight is coming off steadier since I have been monitoring my sodium. The more you eat the more water weight you will retain. Drinking more water will flush it from your system quicker. I just happened to read this article just this morning it has some good information.

I have problems with my blood pressure so that is another reason I watch my intake so closely.

Lower your intake to 1500. You will see the difference from my understanding. I just did this week.
