Gained Weight

I lost almost four pounds last week. When I weighed in this morning I gained almost a pound back. My eating habits havent been the best this week but it always seems when i have a big loss the week before, I gain some of it back. Does this happen to anyone else?

I think it's kinda like the Biggest Loser, you have a good week one week, then you have a bad week. Look at it this way, you lost 3 lbs.. That's 3 lbs you don't have to deal with again if you don't want to. Just keep going. If next week is a gain again, maybe you need to re-evaluate what you're doing. Just keep on keeping on.0

Yep. Water weight. We fluctuate about 5 lbs. Only rely on your weigh in once a week. On the same day, same time, and after you potty.
If you drank alcohol the night before- not reliable. High sodium meal the night before? Not reliable. Drink plenty of water the day before weighing. I weigh daily and I go up and down throughout the week. But every Thursday I always see a loss from the previous Thursday (unless it's THAT time).

so many factors. do you track your sodium, too much salt and not enough water will cause you to retain water. if you worked out a lot it could be muscle. chances are it is water weight since you stated you had eatn poorly, most unhealthy foods are loaded with salt. as for the wworking out more; i do a full body workout on Thursdays and most of the time i see a gain the next day (i am a daily weigher). Then on Friday I have my cardio from hell...lol, and have a nice loss. good luck and if you know your doing the right things then dont stress over gain, if not...well only you can make the decisions of your life. just remember it is 90% of what you let get past your lips.0
