Ok, I just logged my meals for the day and I am -150 calories, so when I got to the gym that's all that I have to burn(I normally burn 600-700 a day at the gym). My question is, on days like this is it better to workout less or eat more to reach my calorie goal?

My answer to the question is. . .yes.

I find I almost always feel better when I take a day or two a week to exercise a bit less, and eat a bit more.

So, if I find after part of the day that my appetite isn't matching my planned exercise, I do a half session (so 30 minutes of cardio instead of my usual 60) and then eat a little more.

It's also funny to me how it feels like total laziness to me nowadays to only go to the gym for a half hour.
