I have recently (from the advice of Dr. Oz and my own research) added ground cinnamon into my diet, IDK if it will really do anything but if you can get in 1 tablesoon a day that 4g of Fiber!!

after I had bloodwork last year my dr had me start taking a Vitamin D supplement
other than that sounds like your on the right track:smile:

I am a bariatric patient and we are required to take supplements because our meals are very small (2 oz), so we don't get enough nutrition through food: This the recommended routine supplements:
    Thiamine (Vitamin B1) 50 mg, 3x wk
    Vit B12 1000mg sublingually, 3x wk
Calcium citrate 1500-1700 mg a day- taken 500-600 mg at a time which is all your body can absorb at a time
    Vit D3 2000 units daily
Beta Carotene 25000 units 2x wk
Multi viamin with minerals 1 serving daily

Also it is important to get adequate protein daily to protect your muscles, heart, and prevent hair loss
Don't take supplemental iron unless your doctor recommends it.
There are additonal supplements you can take like biotin and chromium piccolinate, but they aren't necessary for good, all around nutrition.
Vitamin C is also recommended daily if you don't get enough from your diet.

You may want to look into CLA - also sold as Tonalin. It can cause a fatty liver if overtaken, but not permanent, so start with smaller qty. I'm a firm believer in CoQ10 for overall health. And your Omega 3, 6, 9 - as a female, these help balance hormones very involved in weight loss depending on your age.
