Question About Fats?

I tend to go over a bit on my fat intake a few times a week. How much should I be worrying? My fat intake is from things like avocado, natural peanut butter and eggs not double cheeseburgers. Does it make a difference where that fat comes from?

I wouldn't worry about it too much. The type of fats make all of the difference in the world. Monounsaturated and Polyunsaturated are good fats, while Saturated Fats and Trans fats are bad fats. You're much more likely to find the good fats in the foods your are eating (especially peanut butter), and more likely to find the bad fats in double cheeseburgers.

As long as you keep getting it from healthy sources, and are hitting your calorie goals, you're in good shape.
  • I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as you're not going over on your calories, especially since they seem to be healthy fats! I saw a post yesterday by someone who had lost over 100lbs that said that all that really matters for weight loss is your calorie intake!

sounds like you are making very healthy choices for fat, if you aren't going over everyday i wouldn't worry about it.
