Its Been awhile one of my latest poems to all my MFP friends

I have not written for my heart it has been awhile,

Days come and go never going out of style.

Ive bettered myself and made things right,

Its been such a long while since I've had to fight.

My future comes at me quick and fierce,

And through my heart it does indeed pierce.

My heart hurts for I've given you this chance

But you ripped out my heart and used it for dance.

Althought my life has improved a ton

I expected my life over but it is getting more fun

There are things I wish I change

But in the end my life will not be as strange

The smile I see upon my childrens face when they awake

The Smile makes me happy to see then place their stake.

My future does not look too bad at all

I shall not wait to climb that final wall.

Although my love life could use a bit of help

I miss having that special someone and making it develop.

I have experienced life a bit more than most

It has surely affected me but for that I do not boast.

So I shall end this script with a laugh and a smile

I just want to say it has been awhile.
