I don't know if this has been done before(I did search the archives) but, what tips and tricks do you use to speed up diary entries?

  • I eat the same breakfast a lot, so usually I just have to find them in my recent food list and check it all and then click add. I don't have any tricks though, lol.
  • I eat a lot of the same foods, so I use the "recent" and "most used" tabs a lot. And if there is a common food combo, like I ALWAYS have these two things with this food, I make it into a personal meal, so I cn just click on that and have all the ingredients logged. Once you get used to it, you will figure out the shortcuts that work best for you.

Use the recipe builder, enter things you cook/eat a lot.

... if you eat the same breakfast everyday- combine those into a "recipe" if you have oatmeal w/ honey, an apple, and greek yogurt every single morning- just add all that together in the recipe builder and name it. You can always edit it. It saves a ton of time.

Keep'em coming. These are all good. I use the copy recent or yesterday allot and the save meals that I repeat. I eat the same thing for breakfast and snacks most days of the week (should have bought stock in Kashi).
  • I get frustrated that I have to scroll down for each entry after Meal 2. It would be really nice if they would add tabs or something between meals, so as you add ingredients it goes back to the meal you are working on instead of the main screen.

  • I downloaded the app for my smart phone. It helps to be able to scan in what I eat!
