Now I have a question: anyone have a heart rate monitor to recommend? I have a cheap one that I hate, doesn't track calories, and I'd like one that does.

All I can say is to avoid the Sportline wristwatch model (no chest strap). I got it on clearance and it does a very poor job. It doesn't read HR very well and its calorie count is WAY off. It also sometimes resets in the middle of a workout. I hear a lot of people use Polar HRM's. Others swear by the Bodybugg.0
